Front page design for The Gazette’s Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative series, "Other than Honorable,” examining how wounded combat veterans were discharged for misconduct without benefits during the Army’s post-war downsizing.

Process
Served as the sole designer on a team of eight editors and journalists, shaping the visual presentation for both print and digital platforms. Developed multiple front-page concepts and collaborated closely with editors, reporters, photographers, and a web developer to ensure the design conveyed the emotional weight and investigative depth of the series.

Project description
Breaking news front page for The St. Petersburg Times (now the Tampa Bay Times) following the death of Osama bin Laden. Designed within minutes of the news alert to deliver clear, high-impact coverage of a historic global event.

Worked alongside editors during a fast-moving news cycle to quickly establish hierarchy, typography, and imagery that conveyed the significance of the moment.
